The Montana Bunkhouse - Paradise Cabin, sits on the Olsen Ranch at the base of the Big Snowy Mountains, near Lewistown, MT.
The ranch has been in the family for five generations.
Jackie's grandparents on both sides came to the Paradise Valley on Beaver Creek in Central Montana in 1936. When Jackie's parents, her mom from one ranch and her dad from another, married, it eventually led to a joining of ranches.
Jackie knew that the peaceful quiet, scenic views and abundant wildlife were meant to be shared with others and in 1998 she purchased an old, neighboring school house that had been converted into a livable cabin and dubbed it Paradise Cabin. She also built a small bunkhouse near her home. She began renting the buildings out to hunters and vacationers alike, and called her business the Montana Bunkhouse.
In 2016, Jackie's grandson and his wife took over the Montana Bunkhouse. Aside from ranching and raising a young family, Jeremy and Jessi Olsen are also sprucing up the Paradise Cabin to ensure that it, and the Olsen land, are available for the enjoyment of future generations.
The smaller bunkhouse has been converted to a place for Olsen family and friends to stay, and is no longer a part of the Montana Bunkhouse.
